John brought 20 years of experience working with free and charitable clinics when he joined ECHO as a church clinic developer. John and his family served for 30 months as PCUSA Short-term Mission Volunteers in Chiapas Mexico where they helped fund and construct a medical clinic. He served as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Association of Free Clinics, doubling association membership as he assisted communities and organizations create nonprofit health clinics.
John holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
John lives in Winston-Salem, NC with his wife, Ginny, and Baxter, the dog. They have two daughters, Holly and Maggie.
