Three ways ECHO directs donations
Since 1997, between 30 and 50 million Americans have lived without health insurance. ECHO will always work to help provide quality healthcare to those in need regardless of how insurance, legislation, and other factors affect coverage.
Support ECHO if you believe everyone in America should have access to quality healthcare. For people like Jaime, or Alicia, or Aimee, or millions of others. ECHO uses contributions in three specific ways, and can do so at your discretion:
- No-cost consulting services: ECHO’s primary focus is helping people like Dr. Diehlmann open The Well in Cactus, TX. Our clinic consultants guide physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare and religious leaders through a well-established 12-18 month process to open their clinic and serve their community. We understand how difficult it is to open a new clinic and provide this service free of charge to keep the clinic’s success at the forefront of everything we do.
- Clinic funding: Whether you want to contribute to a clinic in your area or anywhere in America, ECHO can direct your donation to a clinic in-progress that – based on our years of experience – shows a high potential for providing a valuable and sustainable service to its community. Fundraising is mission-critical for a fledgling clinic and your getting involved early is crucial to success.
- Major initiatives: ECHO is pursuing several strategic opportunities to help the clinics we’ve consulted overcome regular, predictable obstacles. For example, in 2019-2020 we will be raising money to help clinics deal with mobility management using a service like Uber Medical, or another individual-focused form of transit. If you’re interested in your donation working to support strategic initiatives, we appreciate the support.
